Absolute beginner - you know a few words, a few expressions (e.g. greetings) but you cannot hold a conversation.

Oral comprehension - You can understand basic Polish words connected with typical situations. You have a key vocabulary and you can understand if somebody speaks slowly.

Speaking - You can hold a basic conversation, order food in a restaurant or ask for directions. You can ask simple questions but you cannot follow a normal conversation.

Reading - You know the basic rules of pronunciation and reading. You can read a simple text.

Writing - You know basic Polish grammar. You can build simple sentences. You can write a short text.
